the original Linnean specimen is not included seemingly in the collections of the Linnean society

perennial, H, 2n=26

rare, seaside dunes and at the base of the sea cliffs

Palearctic, but in the western part of this region only in the Pontic areas

Argusietum sibiricae, Atripliceto hastatae-Cakiletum euxinae

R1601 habitats

in Romania only in the undisturbed habitats along the sea cliffs and sand dunes near the sea shore.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not so rare along the Romanian coasts (in the areas not affected by contructions).

Pictures taken between 2 Mai and Vama Veche, Constanta county at the basal part of a steep cliff above the sea, in the area frequently battered by the waves of the Black Sea. 6th of August 2006
